We have traveled many times over this incredible Rio Grande Gorge northwest of Taos, New Mexico and I was there this day just as the sunrise was emerging. I had walked out into the high desert landscape to the edge of the canyon to witness this beautiful scene. A few lingering clouds from the much appreciated rain of the night created the warm glow that I wanted to capture here.
